Since our humble beginnings in 1993, we have become one of the largest fitness brands in the world, and the largest in Southeast Asia. A trusted and enduring brand, we have an unrivalled network in the region, with knowledgeable teams, new technology and world class clubs. Through the years, we’ve seen a lot of changes and we’ve come a long way. But our purpose remains clear: we are the fitness leaders who inspire people to go further in life.
With more than 230,000 members around the region, we’re always looking for new ways to support and inspire them – and not just in the gym.
2017
In 2017, we became sister brands with Celebrity Fitness under a new holding company, Evolution Wellness.
2016
We create the Certified Fitness Coach, our unique fitness methodology that takes a personalised approach to fitness programming
2014
Our revitalised Fitness First brand goes live across Asia.
We introduce Fit for Fashion, a reality TV show that's broadcasted all over the region to motivate viewers to exercise their own right to a healthier and happier life.
We also launch CustomFit, our very own fitness training app, and BioScore, our proprietary health and fitness assessment tool.
2005
We open the first Fitness First club in Indonesia at Plaza Semanggi, Jakarta.
We now have clubs in six Asian countries - Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
2001
We expand our Asia network by opening clubs in Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia.
2000
Fitness First enters Asia.
